Lead the Accounts Receivable and Revenue Assurance functions ensuring accurate revenue accounting, timely collections, compliant financial reporting, and smooth audit closures.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee Accounts Receivable operations, revenue recognition, and month-end/year-end closures.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and timely financial reporting.

Lead internal, external, and government audit coordination.

Manage AR balance sheet reconciliations, including sub-ledger, GL, and intercompany balances.

Drive collections, monitor ageing, DSO, provisions, and resolve disputes.

Oversee daily AR operations (payment flexibility, PDC extensions, bounced cheques).

Prepare and present AR analysis, management reports, and improvement proposals.

Collaborate with business units and finance teams (AP, Treasury) to resolve issues.

Lead, develop, and performance-manage the AR team.

Support finance systems enhancements and process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (Master’s or professional qualification preferred)

Hands-on experience with Oracle Financials, IFRS, and FTA regulations
