IT Support (Healthcare)- UAE National Fresher

The IT Support – Junior Medical Informatics / Health IT Associate role is designed for fresh graduates seeking to build a career in healthcare IT. The role supports the implementation, optimization, and daily operation of clinical information systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR).

Responsibilities

Assist in supporting and maintaining hospital IT systems and EHR/EMR platforms under supervision.

Provide first-level IT support to clinical and administrative users.

Log, track, and escalate system issues to senior IT or Informatics teams.

Participate in system upgrades, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Support documentation of clinical workflows, system requirements, and process improvements.

Assist in configuring clinical system modules as part of supervised training.

Help ensure system usability aligns with clinical needs.

Assist in basic healthcare data analysis and report preparation.

Support data validation, accuracy checks, and documentation.

Help generate operational and quality reports as required.

Learn and assist with healthcare data exchange standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.

Support system integrations and data flow monitoring under guidance.

Assist in preparing user manuals, SOPs, and training materials.

Support onboarding and training sessions for clinical staff and system users.

Follow healthcare IT security, data privacy, and access control policies.

Learn and comply with local and international healthcare regulations.

Assist during audits and system access reviews when required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (completed or near completion) in one of the following:

Medical Informatics / Health Information Management / Health IT/ Biomedical Engineering/ Computer Science (Healthcare focus preferred)/Nursing or Allied Health (with IT interest)

Basic understanding of healthcare IT systems.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Willingness to learn and adapt.

Salary Range

AED 8,000 per month during the initial 6-month training period(Potential confirmation and growth upon successful completion)
